John Sikora has over 25+ years of pharmaceutical and device industry experience in business excellence, process improvement, project, quality, and compliance management within global clinical development organizations. He has experience in setting the overall direction, coordination, and implementation of strategic initiatives focusing on organizational assessment, design, and execution of organizational change management strategy. He has developed and implemented operating models focusing on defining functional area capabilities, role responsibilities, competencies, and job descriptions. He has experience in GxP Quality Management System (QMS) assessments, design of QMS quality system elements (QSE), and alignment of cross-functional processes end to end. John is an ASQ Lean Six Sigma Certified Green Belt and Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner.
Before joining Halloran, John was director of business process improvement & innovation within the development organization at Astellas Pharma. As director, he implemented a project management office to triage a global portfolio of cross-functional strategic business excellence initiatives focused on implementing improvements to global processes and systems. Before his time at Astellas, John worked in several operational and continuous improvement roles at Abbott, and TAP Pharmaceuticals, managed a clinical trials unit at Northwestern University – Northwestern Center for Clinical Research, and worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Indiana University School of Medicine.
