Connacht is an independent consultant who joined Halloran Consulting Group in 2012. She has more than 8 years of experience in clinical project management and clinical monitoring. At Halloran, Connacht focuses on clinical operations project management and trial site monitoring.
Prior to joining Halloran, Connacht spent five years as a Global Clinical Project Manager working on trials from study start up through database lock. In this role, Connacht gained experience maintaining study budgets and timelines, managing functionally outsourced vendors, monitoring trial level GCP issues and the distribution of safety reports, updating CTMS, facilitating team meetings, reviewing and collecting regulatory documents, administering informed consent, reviewing protocols and their approval processes, supervising and responding to study/site audits, and creating and maintaining clinical trial master files, IRB submissions, and audits of clinical trial master files.
Prior to her work as a Global Project Manager, Connacht worked as a Senior CRA/Regional Monitor with field experience where she performed site selection, initiation, routine monitoring, closure visits, and mentored Junior CRAs. Her areas of therapeutic expertise include Infectious Disease (Hepatitis B and Cellulitis), Cardiovascular (Heart Failure), Gastroenterology (IBS-d and Chronic Functional Vomiting), Endocrine/Metabolic (Diabetes), Musculoskeletal (Osteoporosis), Respiratory, Dermatology, and Neuroscience (Multiple Sclerosis, Schizophrenia, ADHD, Major Depressive Disorder).
Connacht earned a Master of Science in Business Administrative Studies from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut. Connacht also volunteers as a U.S. Figure Skating Official and judges skating events in the New England region.
